The Great War Tour With Norm Christie
All 6 Episodes are finished and 4 are currently airing on TVO, Monday nights at 10 pm. Episode 1: Master of War on Arthur Currie; Episode 2: The Missing; Episode 3: Sacred Places, Canadian Cemeteries of the Great War, and Episode 4; The Vimy Pilgrimage, 1936. These 4 Episodes will be broadcast on The Knowledge Network May, 18, 25, June 1 & 8. They are also available on-line at TVO.org. They are also on PBS America in the United Kingdom.
The ‘lost’ Episodes are; Episode 5
A two hour ‘Director’s Cut’ on Sir Arthur Currie; and Episode 6: Grandad’s War, which is about three generations of my own family uncovering our Great War roots. It is a pilgrimage with my son and father (a Second War RCAF pilot), retracing my Grandfather’s path in the War. They will be broadcast on-line shortly (details to follow).
