Over one hundred Special Operations F Section agents were killed and they were primarily executed at Concentration Camps, how are they commemorated? Most both Men and Women are named on Memorials to the Missing; many at Brookwood, Runnymede, Groebeek, Bayeux, but a very few isolated graves can be found. Bieler’s Musician network was blown in January 1944. Dozens were arrested and tortured. Paul Tessier was to be the Weapons Officer for Musician and he dropped just when all collapsed. He was arrested and taken to Gestapo torture chambers in Paris .. where he escaped and rejoined the Resistance.
He was killed in the liberation of Paris August 26, 1944.
He is buried in an isolated grave at Lagny CC, not far from Euro Disney.
His is a very rare case.
