REMEMBER AUGUST; HILL 70; AMIENS, ARRAS; & NORMANDY

Sunday, September 22 @ 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Always spread the Word. Tell them not to forget the 110,000 Canadians died for your freedom. We cannot let them die in vain.

LOOK ON US THOU WHO
PASS BY
FROM OUR DEAD HANDS
THY FREEDOM CAME

We hope your are enjoying Summer wherever you are because it has been crap here! Am I hoping for Winter? There will be no History Event this month but they resume on September 22, 2014, Noon to Four at the Manotick Legion. Topics will be; Lost Treasures of the Great War, where All will be invited to bring an interesting item or two and explain how these artifacts tell the story of the Great War. Norm will bring in half a dozen items. And; Michel Gravel will tell the story of George McKean, VC, MC, MM, and his actions on September 2nd, 1918 when he single-handedly broke through the D-Q Line. Should this have been a Bar to his VC? Please come one, come all, and participate. Bring a friend. We need more Patriots. Only We can save our rapidly vanishing history. It is up to you!
